BI Developer – Power BI
About The Position
One especially critical project involves developing a Power BI dashboard to enable more accurate fiscal-year calculations and expenditure rollups, supporting improved reporting and consistent auditing functions. The contractor will: Design and implement a monthly snapshot architecture Create flow documentation and backend schema Deliver operational dashboard enhancements as requested by IT leadership Maintain and update technical documentation, data definitions, and data dictionaries Perform analysis, design, coding, testing, documentation, implementation, modification, and upgrades of agency computer systems supporting health services Integrate and monitor backend system processes and solutions Troubleshoot, remediate, and resolve customer-reported issues Support public health infrastructure initiatives
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with Power BI
- 3+ years of experience with technical documentation
- 1+ year of experience with project management
- 1+ year of experience with data modeling
Nice To Haves
- Experience with graphic design
- Experience with Python
- Experience with SQL
