About The Position

Cetera Financial Group is seeking a Senior Platform Improvement Specialist. This person will play a pivotal role in gathering feedback from business stakeholders and partner with internal business owners to translate business needs into innovative technology requirements and solutions and drive delivery with vendors (in conjunction with IT as appropriate). This role will partner with various councils, comprised of our advisors and their staff to ensure we design solutions that not only address internal stakeholder feedback, but create capabilities to unlock efficiencies with our advisors. What You Will Do: · Manage key vendor relationships and ensure those vendors are engaged and meeting Cetera’s business needs/expectations. · Identify potential new vendors and oversee the selection and bid process. Make recommendations to add new vendors. · Manage internal stakeholder roadmaps for key vendors and provide oversight so that business enhancements are defined, scheduled, and delivered on time. · Establish and manage vendor governance processes for key technologies to ensure all changes are reviewed and approved by internal stakeholders. · Ensure business data requirements are captured and delivered with each vendor to support business reporting. · Partner with the Change Governance Committee (CGC) to ensure that changes with vendor technology platforms are communicated and managed via the CGC. · Work with the M&A team to coordinate conversion activity with key internal facing vendors (e.g., Docupace, SF, etc. as part of the M&A project. · Partner with key vendors during BCP events to ensure business processes are accurately described and maintained during the BCP event. · Other duties as assigned. What You Need: · Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities across internal and external stakeholders. · Effective verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in writing technical specifications are required. · Ability to understand and manage complex software and database systems is required. · Ability to manage concurrent projects, reason analytically, and work with people possessing differing levels of technical knowledge is required. · Experience with Salesforce Service & Sales Clouds · Experience as a product owner · Experience leading or building recruiting, onboarding, and transitions technology capabilities Preferred Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent is required. · Minimum of 5 yearsof experience in platform design and development · Minimum two years project management experience Compensation: The base annual salary range for this role is $79,000 to $135,000, plus a competitive performance-based bonus. Base annual salary depends on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location. Base annual salary may also differ significantly due to geography and cost of labor considerations. #LI-Hybrid
