About The Position

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement quality engineering practices for financial technology solutions.
  • Develop and maintain test frameworks to ensure consistent and efficient testing across the enterprise.
  • Contribute to improving automation frameworks to ensure maintainable and scalable test automation for the platform.
  • Define and enforce testing standards, automation strategies, and best practices across the SDLC.
  • Analyze and address complex problems, performance bottlenecks, and quality gaps in systems to enhance software efficiency and robustness.
  • Develop and maintain tools for generating, managing, and cleaning test data across environments to support both automated and manual tests.
  • Integrate testing tools and frameworks into the CI/CD pipeline, focusing on automating testing within the build and deployment process.
  • Design, develop and maintain automated test environments and data solutions to ensure system reliability and predictability, providing value-stream aligned engineering teams with the necessary tools for success.
  • Collaborate with quality engineering, product, and business teams to support best practices in test-driven development (TDD) and automation.
  • Mentor and assist junior engineers in adopting automation practices and test methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain tools for performance, load, and stress testing, ensuring they support real-world traffic and use cases.
  • Work alongside infrastructure teams to help configure testing environments that generate scalable load and measure system response.
  • Demonstrate expertise in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python) and contribute to the design and execution of automated testing frameworks for mission-critical applications.
  • Assist in platform quality engineering, particularly within financial technology, payment systems, and cloud environments.
  • Support the adoption of emerging testing technologies, ensuring alignment with the company’s innovation and quality engineering strategy.

  • Illinois Paid Leave must be used before associates in Illinois will be approved to take FTO.
  • Hired associates will be able to elect the purchase company stock during offering periods in June and December.
