About The Position

As a Senior PBP at Fanatics Betting & Gaming (FBG), you'll play a key role in shaping and scaling our people strategy across a dynamic, fast-growing organization. We're looking for a versatile, strategic partner who can support multiple functions and thrive in a startup environment that values innovation, agility, and inclusivity. The ideal candidate will operate effectively at both hands-on and strategic levels, bringing fresh ideas and scalable solutions that strengthen our culture and empower our teams to do their best work. You'll report to the Director, People Business Partner, and work closely with senior leaders across the business to drive impact through people. This role is hybrid, based out of our Philadelphia, Denver or Jacksonville office.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of HR or People Business Partner experience supporting a variety of business functions
  • Proven ability to thrive in a startup or fast-scaling environment, balancing strategy with hands-on execution
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; able to influence at all levels of the organization
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on building scalable systems and processes to support growth
  • Strong judgment and emotional intelligence, with experience managing sensitive issues and maintaining confidentiality
  • Experience driving cross-functional projects and change initiatives
  • Working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices; familiarity with immigration processes is a plus
  • Creative, solutions-oriented thinker who takes initiative and follows through to deliver results
  • Open to regular travel to events and other Fanatics offices for various offsite and team meetings

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders across multiple disciplines to design and execute scalable people strategies aligned with business goals
  • Take ownership of key HR programs, driving initiatives that foster engagement, retention, and development across diverse teams
  • Anticipate organizational needs and provide proactive support to leaders and employees in a high-growth environment
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on complex employee relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent, and effective resolution
  • Conduct investigations and manage sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism
  • Coach and develop leaders to enhance people management capabilities and build high-performing teams
  • Analyze workforce data and trends to inform strategic decision-making and future planning
  • Collaborate with the broader People team to share best practices and promote continuous learning
  • Support the development of a strong, inclusive culture that values innovation and diverse perspectives
