About The Position

Role Under limited supervision, the Senior Pension Administrator, Defined Benefit will be responsible for processing all types of calculations. The Lead Pension Administrator will use product and client specific procedures when completing calculations to ensure accuracy and timeliness of all work. Manages XTRAC workflows, including accessing, researching and resolving complex/sensitive customer issues and may need to determine root cause for internal issues and customer inquiries Resolves medium to high complex items across all clients of all types within a defined period of time Acts as subject matter professional of end to end processing of calculations, employee resolutions, and have a working knowledge of the disbursements process Is accountable for logging bugs against DBCS and Actuarial Certified Workbooks Mentors and trains new associates to create depth and strength throughout the team while assisting the Defined Benefit Managers with developing associate goals and completing annual reviews Assists with tracking client specific Service Level Agreements (SLAs) Proactively identifies work item trends and works with various internal business partners to arrive at customer-centric solutions Provides support for corporate action and project related tasks Supports monthly testing of various systems upgrades and releases Participates in special departmental projects Provides back up support to DB Manager as needed. The Senior Pension Administrator, Defined Benefit must interact with a diverse group within Fidelity, including client contacts and participants, and is a key contributor to the team environment and services provided to Fidelity’s client base. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Solid grasp of Defined Benefits and Defined Benefits systems
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and intuitive skills
