About The Position

The Role Under limited direction, the Senior Administrator, Defined Benefit will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of various types of calculations of moderate to high complexity within a multi- client environment. Additionally, they will be involved in specialized processing for custom requests from the client. As an experienced processor, in addition to normal responsibilities, this individual will be charged with the following: Providing job coaching and mentoring to junior level processors on the intricacies of their specific business unit. Monitoring their respective work queues and providing direction to ensure that all aging work items and calculations are resolved in conjunction with the service level agreement timeframes. Validating and updating User Procedure Documentation (UPD). Note: Fidelity is not providing immigration sponsorship for this position. The Team The Senior Administrator, Defined Benefit processes various types of calculations, meeting timeliness and accuracy standards while interpreting plan rules to ensure compliance with the plan document. The role provides support to internal Client Service Functional teams while serving as the subject matter expert on assigned clients. Manually calculate and review pension benefits for plan participants Contact participants to explain calculations or resolve participant/client related issues regarding pension benefits Support monthly testing of various systems upgrades and releases Participate in special departmental projects Provide back-up coverage for other transaction processors and team Managers as needed Document updates to User Procedure Documentation Certifications: Category: Transaction Processing Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Mathematics, Finance of Business) or equivalent work experience
  • Defined Benefit knowledge and experience or related transaction processing experience preferred
  • Strong analytical and intuitive skills
