About The Position

Cherry Bekaert is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to take ownership of complex, multi-state payroll processing activities. Requirements

• 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience required
• Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple deadlines
• Strong communication and customer-service mindset

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Costpoint and UKG strongly preferred
• Experience working in a government contracting or professional services environment

Responsibilities

• Process multi-state payroll for employees across various locations (5+ years required)
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll cycles while adhering to tight deadlines
• Review, audit, and reconcile payroll data to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain payroll records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Assist with year-end processes including W-2s and other payroll-related reporting
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and management teams to resolve payroll issues and respond to employee inquiries
• Support process improvements and payroll system optimizations
