Senior Payroll Coordinator
About The Position
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Payroll Specialist to support payroll operations in a fast-paced, multi-location state environment. This role requires a high level of accuracy, ownership, and consistent follow-through. This is a hybrid position based in Kent, WA (3 days in office). Remote work and relocation are not available. Requirements
- 5+ years of payroll experience, including multi-state payroll
- Demonstrated track record of meeting deadlines and maintaining high accuracy
- Ability to manage work independently and follow through without frequent oversight
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Strong communication skills and responsiveness in a team environment
Nice To Haves
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end payroll processing, including time review, adjustments, bonuses, and commissions
- Ensure accuracy of payroll data, documentation, and compliance with multi-state requirements
- Research and resolve payroll discrepancies, including pay and PTO inquiries
- Manage payroll-related inquiries and provide timely, clear communication to field teams
- Process garnishments, deductions, and required reporting
- Partner with the Payroll Manager on process improvements and system enhancements
- Develop expertise in ADP Workforce Now and identify opportunities to improve efficiency
