About The Position

The Senior Payroll and Benefits Specialist is responsible for performing all activities necessary to ensure the accuracy and timely processing of KORE’s US, Canada and Global Payrolls and Benefits. Global Payroll and Benefits experience would be a major plus!!

Requirements

  • Minimum2+years experiencein a Global Payroll & Benefits environment.
  • Must have experience with US and Canadianpayrolls includingusing payroll systems such asADP WFN.
  • Must have Benefits experience and willingness to learn Global Benefits.
  • BachelorsDegree or Associates/Diploma in Business is preferred.
  • Proficient with MS Office applications, such as excel preparing reports, memos, and letters.
  • Understanding ofpayroll systems (ADP Workforce Now and ADP Celergo).
  • Good communication, analytical thinking, problem solvingskills ,strong attention to detail.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic and with a customer service focus attitude.
  • Ability to learn global payroll to support Global payroll requirements - training will be provided.

Nice To Haves

  • Payroll Designation (PCP) is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Complete full cycle payroll processing for the organization in the US and Canada (semi-monthly pay frequency) and globally (monthly pay frequency) and ensureaccurateandtimelybalancing of each payroll cycle. Subject matter expert for all US and Canadian payroll tax.
  • Administer global benefit plans. Serving as the primary contact for benefit related inquiries, providing guidance on eligibility, coverage, and program requirements.
  • Process employee enrollments, changes, terminations, and qualifying life events and spearhead the US open enrollment process.
  • Administer all leaves; disability, maternity/parental, FMLA and compassionate care and coordinate benefit premiums during leaves with payroll.
  • Deliver benefit orientation presentations to new employees and draft employee communicationsregardingplan updates and changes.
  • Maintainaccuratebenefit records in all systems.
  • Partner with Finance on monthly invoice reconciliation and discrepancy resolution.
  • Support audits, governance documentation, and reporting by supplyingaccuratebenefitsdata.
  • Effectively respond to employee-related inquiries and provide effective support in resolution.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments, including Human Resources andFinanceto ensure that all payroll-related processes are aligned and effective.
  • Effectively support Finance and HR reporting and analytics,initiativeand projects asrequired.
  • Ensure all payroll is reviewed andsubmittedwithin the agreed payroll calendars for each payroll company code.
  • Maintain all payroll files and other required documentation for auditing purposes.
  • Support audit asrequired.
  • Ensure government reporting and filings are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Effectively support Finance and HR reporting and analytics,initiativeand projects asrequired.
  • Stay up to date on changes to payroll regulations and compliance requirements in multiple countries.
  • General accounting duties and administrative duties as assigned.
  • Prepare payroll-related reports for analysis as requested.
