Walmart Connect is looking for a Technology Provider Partner Development Manager to drive growth and adoption of our Advertising API offerings while managing and accelerating success for our rapidly scaling technology partners. What you'll do... In this role, you will own both partner expansion and partner growth, serving as a strategic advisor to a portfolio of fast-growing Technology Providers that are building on and integrating with Walmart Connect’s Advertising APIs. You will be the primary point of contact for these partners, ensuring they have the resources, support, and strategic guidance needed to scale successfully. This includes optimizing integration strategies, identifying growth opportunities, removing barriers to expansion, and amplifying revenue through deeper product adoption and joint business development initiatives. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Marketplace, Strategy, Legal, Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams to identify products, programs, and experiences that help both Walmart Connect and our partners scale together. The ideal candidate thrives in managing dynamic, fast-paced partner relationships and excels at identifying opportunities that drive mutual growth.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of strategic business, partnerships, business development, product, or related experience with a proven track record of managing complex relationships and cross-functional initiatives
  • Experience working with technical partners, APIs, and product-driven integrations
  • Proven success delivering partnership initiatives, with an emphasis on automated advertising or ad tech–enabled experiences
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration experience, managing initiatives at scale and driving measurable outcomes
  • Analytical mindset with experience diagnosing problems, crafting solutions, and defining success metrics to measure impact
  • Experience building trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external, including sales and pre-sales teams
  • Bachelor’s degree required (BA/BS)
  • Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related area.
  • Option 2: Master’s degree in advertising, marketing, business, or related area.
  • Option 3: 5 years’ experience in brand advertising (for example, television, video, sponsorship), media sales, customer acquisition and growth, search, mobile, or online sales.
  • 5 years’ experience in shopper marketing sales, eCommerce sales, or retail advertising sales.
  • 5 years’ experience managing client accounts.
  • 5 years’ experience as a strategic advisor working with C-suite clients.

Nice To Haves

  • 2–3 years of eCommerce Merchandising experience (preferred), with an understanding of how merchandising strategies intersect with digital advertising and technology platforms

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of fast-growing Technology Provider partners, serving as their primary point of contact and strategic advisor for scaling integrations within the Walmart Connect ecosystem
  • Develop and execute customized partner growth strategies by identifying expansion opportunities, optimizing integrations, and removing barriers to scale
  • Own the partner expansion strategy, including defining evaluation criteria, prospecting, sourcing, and onboarding high-potential Technology Providers aligned to Walmart Connect’s growth priorities
  • Act as a product expert, deeply knowledgeable in all the ways partners can integrate with and leverage Walmart Connect’s Advertising APIs to maximize growth and revenue
  • Collaborate with partners to develop and execute go-to-market strategies through joint PR, marketing, co-selling, developer relations enablement, and supporting materials
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketplace, Product, Strategy, Legal, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams to advocate for partner needs and identify product and program enhancements that drive mutual growth
  • Enable Walmart Connect sales teams with training, content, and accelerators on partner solutions that help accelerate deals and expand opportunities
  • Develop, optimize, and scale partner management processes, programs, and resources to drive efficiency for both internal teams and rapidly growing partners
  • Contribute to programs and initiatives that improve operational scale, consistency, and effectiveness across the partner ecosystem
