About The Position

DWF is looking for a Senior Paralegal/Contract Specialist for a 12 month contract role. This is a fully remote opportunity offering $35-$40/hour, with flexibility to work from anywhere in the US-provided you can support Eastern Standard Time hours. This role will consist of a 30-40 hour work week. The ideal candidate brings strong contract review, drafting, and stakeholder collaboration experience and are comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment. The individual would be assigned to work for a global pharmaceutical company who is a client of DWF.

Requirements

  • Prior in-house contract drafting and negotiation experience preferred; law degree is not required.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be proficient with contract management systems, electronic signing platforms and Microsoft technologies.
  • Must be a problem-solver and team-player willing to take initiative.
  • Must have attention to detail.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, including comfortable communicating with various levels throughout an organization and external parties.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous pharmaceuticals, clinical or biotechnology experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Review and negotiate high-volume of Confidential Disclosure Agreements (CDAs) and related agreements (i.e. amendments, etc.) adhering to the approved playbook and policies.
  • Administer CDA requests primarily in contract management system, including intake of initial request, drafting, negotiation and execution.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders as necessary to complete and/or action a CDA request.
  • Assist with providing guidance to requesters throughout CDA process, including triaging requests that may require escalation to other resources or assistance with process-related questions.
  • Provide backup support for various contracting administration matters within the Transactions Law Group, i.e. routing contracts through electronic signing platform.
  • Other duties as may be assigned.
