About The Position

DST is a federal and commercial enterprise technology integrator specializing in secure, scalable IT solutions for complex environments. We support Fortune 500 clients, federal agencies, and major healthcare systems with modern infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, and data management solutions. As we expand our healthcare footprint across the Florida West Coast, we are seeking an experienced, relationship-driven Senior Outside Sales Account Executive to lead growth across regional hospital systems. DST is looking for a seasoned healthcare sales professional with deep relationships across hospital systems on Florida’s West Coast. The ideal candidate has sold high-value, enterprise-grade IT or technology solutions into hospitals and health networks and has established credibility with CIOs, IT leadership, construction/facilities teams, purchasing, and supply chain departments. You must bring a proven track record of successfully navigating complex sales cycles, working within group purchasing structures, presenting technical solutions, and driving multi-million-dollar opportunities from identification to close.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of outside sales experience selling into hospital systems or large medical groups.
  • Prior experience with a medical supply, medical device, or healthcare IT solutions company.
  • Demonstrated success selling enterprise-scale, high-value IT solutions (infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, cloud, or similar).
  • Existing relationships with key stakeholders across the Florida West Coast hospital ecosystem strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of hospital procurement processes, budgeting cycles, capital approvals, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizations, influence decision-makers, and close large, strategic deals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and contract negotiation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with GPOs (Vizient, Premier, HPG, etc.).
  • Familiarity with construction planning and technology build-outs for hospital expansions or new facilities.
  • Strong understanding of HIPAA, PHI handling, and hospital IT governance practices.

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow DST’s hospital system accounts across the Florida West Coast region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with IT, construction/facilities, purchasing, supply chain, and capital planning teams.
  • Identify opportunities for DST’s large-scale IT offerings, including infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity, cloud, networking, and hardware solutions.
  • Manage long-cycle enterprise sales opportunities, including RFP/RFI responses, proposal development, pricing strategy, and executive presentations.
  • Work cross-functionally with DST delivery and engineering teams to ensure solution alignment and customer satisfaction.
  • Represent DST at industry events, hospital association meetings, and relevant networking forums.
  • Maintain accurate CRM documentation and forecasting.
