About The Position

The Senior Business Analyst for Oracle Eloqua is responsible for partnering with Marketing, Sales, and IT stakeholders to implement, enhance, and support Oracle Eloqua Marketing Automation capabilities. This role leads to requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization of Eloqua campaigns, segmentation, lead management integrations, and marketing performance reporting, ensuring scalable processes, strong data governance, and compliance with communication policies. This position reports to the Oracle ERP Manager.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of marketing automation concepts (segmentation, nurture journeys, email/program strategy, lead lifecycle).
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Eloqua campaign build and administration (emails, forms, landing pages, segmentation, shared assets).
  • Working knowledge of Eloqua CDOs, contact fields, and data governance best practices.
  • Familiarity with CRM integration concepts (field mapping, sync cadence, lead/contact ownership, data conflicts, error handling).
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and facilitation skills; ability to translate business needs into scalable platform configuration.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting Oracle Eloqua with strong hands-on expertise in Eloqua
  • 2+ years of experience in implementing or supporting Oracle Eloqua.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology with accounting background, Computer Science.
  • Oracle certifications (Oracle Certified Implementation Specialist) or equivalent experience required.
  • Experience with JIRA for service desk management
  • Experience with Confluence

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Marketing and business stakeholders to define and document requirements for Eloqua use cases (campaign orchestration, lead capture, nurture journeys, email programs, event/webinar support, preference management).
  • Design and maintain Eloqua assets and framework components such as email templates, landing pages, forms, segments, shared filters, contact fields, and campaign canvases.
  • Define and support lead management processes including lead scoring/grading , routing, and lifecycle tracking in coordination with CRM stakeholders (e.g., Oracle CX Sales/Salesforce).
  • Support Eloqua data model and governance, including Contacts, Accounts and Custom Data Objects (CDOs); partner with integration teams on data mapping, data quality, and ongoing sync rules.
  • Collaborate with technical teams on integrations to CRM, websites, SSO/identity, event platforms, and analytics tools; assist with troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with email deliverability and communication governance (subscription management, suppression rules, consent management, frequency management, CAN-SPAM considerations as applicable).
  • Develop test strategy and execute SIT/UAT for Eloqua enhancements; manage defects through resolution and validate fixes.
  • Create functional documentation (process flows, configuration notes, runbooks, training materials) and deliver end-user/admin training as needed.
  • Partner with Reporting/Analytics to define KPIs and dashboards (campaign performance, funnel metrics, email performance, attribution inputs where applicable) and validate data accuracy.
  • Provide production support and continuous improvement, including evaluation of Oracle quarterly updates and recommending feature adoption.
  • Experience in raising service requests with Oracle Cloud Support for any issues that need escalation.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or required.
