We are currently searching for a Business Analyst – Oracle Costing: The Challenge (Responsibilities)

Requirements

Oracle Expertise: Intermediate knowledge of the Oracle Costing Module, including configurations and data models.
Accounting Background: Strong background in Cost Accounting with the ability to translate accounting needs into Oracle system solutions.
Module Integration: Good hands-on experience with Oracle General Ledger and its integration with Costing.
Project Knowledge: Working knowledge of Oracle Project Costing.
Quality Assurance: Demonstrated experience in writing and executing test scripts for ERP environments.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills with excellent stakeholder engagement abilities.
High-Performance Mindset: Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a focus on agile delivery.
Technologist DNA: A deep understanding of the difference between "coding" and "engineering."
Advanced Oral English: Required for presenting to executive leadership and global technical teams.
Advanced Oral Spanish.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience with Oracle ERP Cloud or E-Business Suite (EBS) in costing/finance modules.
Exposure to large-scale ERP implementation or upgrade projects.
Knowledge of end-to-end accounting cycles and financial reporting.
Familiarity with cloud-native foundations or AI coding assistants.

Responsibilities

Requirement Gathering: Engage with business users to elicit, document, and validate requirements for costing and accounting processes.
System Analysis & Configuration: Perform costing configurations in Oracle to meet business requirements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Test Script Development: Write, maintain, and execute detailed test scripts to validate system functionality and business process alignment.
Cross-Module Integration: Analyze and document how costing processes interact with Oracle General Ledger and Project Costing, ensuring seamless data flow and reporting.
Process Mapping: Document business processes within costing and illustrate their relationship with other Oracle modules for end-to-end visibility.
Cost Accounting Expertise: Provide subject matter expertise in cost accounting principles and practices within our client's Oracle systems.
