About The Position

KBR is seeking a Senior Operations Security Analyst/Management Analyst to join our team. This position supports PMA-231 directly assisting the Program Office to perform critical program management and support in the execution of E-2C / E-2D Fleet Information and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case management regarding unclassified and classified document release. The candidate will be based out of NAS Patuxent River, Maryland.

Requirements

  • Applicant selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. At least a current Secret Clearance is required.
  • Ten (10) or more years of combined experience performing duties described in the functional description.
  • Master’s Degree
  • ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: Bachelor’s Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master’s Degree. (Total: 12 years) OR Associate’s Degree plus four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master’s Degree. (Total: 14 years) OR Six (6) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master’s Degree. (Total: 16 years)

Responsibilities

  • Apply knowledge of Operations Security (OPSEC) to develop, implement, and maintain the OPSEC Program to protect sensitive Unclassified and Classified program information, activities, equipment, and material used or developed by the U.S. Government and industry.
  • Coordinate engineering review of all data for release to ensure security classification guidelines are met prior to release to U.S. Navy, Industry, or foreign nationals.
  • Review program documentation prior to release to U.S. and foreign governments and contractors to ensure compliance with the applicable Security Classification Guide (SCG) for all program information.
  • When applicable, ensure compliance with DoD policy and guidance on Foreign Disclosure and Export Controls and related U.S. Export Control Laws, Regulations, and Policies.
  • Develop OPSEC Survey and Assessment Plans as well as conduct and produce findings of surveys and assessments.
  • Develop, participate in and/or provide OPSEC, SCG, and International Programs Security training and awareness.
  • Demonstrated experience in Document Sanitization and Releasability.
  • Exhibit well-developed verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal skills; analytical skills; attention to detail; organizational skills; ability to assess, apply, and recommend improvements to established business processes; and can balance priorities to work effectively in the fast-paced program office environment.
  • Be highly proficient at Microsoft Office (Word; Excel; PowerPoint; Project & Outlook).
  • Be a self-starter and be able to co-lead meetings and capture actions items and meeting minutes.
