We’re currently looking for: Responsible for designing, implementing and operating RingCentral’s global production networks and ensuring that the network infrastructure is operating within the design specifications. To succeed in this role you must meet the following requirements: Providing availability in production Data Center networks for application (Video, Voice, Messag-ing) across the globe Continuously improving and extending network technologies in existing Data Centers Building out networks in new Data Centers Troubleshooting and fixing issues together with infrastructure and application teams Support Lab/Stage/Regression environments Participation in on call rotation Responsible for design, overall view and approach

Requirements

U.S. Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, or foreign equivalent, plus two (2) years of related experience, or U.S. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field plus five (5) years of related experience, is required.
Experience with all of the following networks: ISP, ENT and DC
Experience with one of the following hardware families: Juniper, Cisco or Arista
Experience with all of the following protocols: BGP, EVPM, VXLAN, OSPF, xSTP, RTG, VRRP, LACP, OSPF, FBF/PBR, VRF, GRE, IPIP, IPSec, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS and TACACS
Experience with one of the following firewall administration tools: iptables, firewalld, Cisco solution, Juniper solution, or Palo Alto solution
LinuxOS
Experience with one of the following service infrastructures: baremetall, virtualization with hypervisor, or con-tainers
green field deployments
brown field deployments is required.

Responsibilities

Designing, implementing and operating RingCentral’s global production networks
Ensuring that the network infrastructure is operating within the design specifications
Providing availability in production Data Center networks for application (Video, Voice, Messag-ing) across the globe
Continuously improving and extending network technologies in existing Data Centers
Building out networks in new Data Centers
Troubleshooting and fixing issues together with infrastructure and application teams
