About The Position

ASRC Federal Holding Company is a premier provider of systems and solutions for a wide variety of federal government customers. We are seeking motivated Senior .NET Core Developer to join our team in developing mission critical agency systems in a dynamic, agile environment. Location: Arlington, VA Work arrangement: Onsite (5 days) Clearance: Active Secret clearance Responsibilities: Develop mission critical applications in support of the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) mission Work collaboratively in an Agile software development environment Demonstrate strong expertise in Agile development methodologies through daily sprint participation, task execution and adherence to Agile principles. Apply modern software development techniques for a modular system Have an ability to learn new technologies as they are introduced, and the software applications and environment evolves Support modernization of software development practices Contribute to enterprise best practices and playbooks Identify and support opportunities for innovation Lead and mentor other personnel as needed Contribute to system design and architectural decision making Participate in meetings, discussions, and demonstrations related to the development of applications and associated data across Classified, Unclassified, and Sensitive but Unclassified environments. Possess a foundational understanding of DevSecOps principles.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • 10 years of overall web development experience that includes at least 8+ years with entity framework, ASP.NET, C#, MVC based web development using Visual Studio 2017 or higher.
  • Five (5) years of .Net Core/Standard development experience.
  • Five (5) years of Agile development methodology experience including participation in sprints, backlog grooming, and Agile ceremonies.
  • Experience in web development using ASP.NET Core, JavaScript, C#, AJAX, HTML, CSS, XML, Linq or similar
  • Experience as a developer in a software environment that supported more than 10,000 users, and a Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) with more than 250 tables and 1 million total rows.
  • Experience in at least one software development environment with a minimum of 1,000 automated unit tests.
  • Experience with DevOps
  • Experience with automated test frameworks
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Excels in a team environment
  • Driven to grow and improve both yourself and the company
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret clearance
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a Government security background investigation and must meet eligibility and DEA suitability requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Experience developing large enterprise custom web applications
  • Experience working in a federal government environment
  • Five (5) years’ experience of e-GIS experience
