Summary: The Senior Developer at IDOH will be responsible for analyzing existing applications and building innovative web applications. This role involves collaborating with project managers, developers, business analysts, and functional team members to ensure the successful execution of project activities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in application development using Microsoft .NET Framework and C#.
• Proficiency in applying object-oriented programming and MVC frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills to perform requirements analysis and communicate results effectively.
• Ability to work independently and exercise independent judgment under general supervision.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse project teams.

Responsibilities

• Complete project assignments and participate in the full development life cycle, including requirements analysis and design.
• Collaborate with technical and functional staff to understand detailed business requirements, processes, and alignment with agency standards, federal, and state policies.
• Draft technical specifications based on conceptual design and business requirements.
• Apply object-oriented techniques and best practices for design, development, unit testing, and deployment.
• Develop code with a strong unit testing strategy and plans.
• Utilize Microsoft .NET Framework, a supported MVC framework, and C# programming for application development.
• Ensure project milestones are met in collaboration with the project manager.
• Prototype, refine, test, and debug programs with input from the PM, technical staff, and end users.
• Work independently while considering agency web applications architecture and business decisions in design processes.
• Support EDI claim transactions and resolve EDI data transmission conflicts.
• Provide helpdesk level support for EDI issues and facilitate accurate file exchanges with trading partners.
