About The Position

The Opportunity Adobe’s communications team helps define how the world understands Adobe by bringing our products, innovation, and customer and industry impact to life for media, creators, partners, and the broader market. We are seeking an experienced media strategist to develop and drive integrated media relations programs that elevate Adobe’s leadership, innovation, and cultural relevance across traditional, digital, and emerging platforms. This role is for a strategic communicator who understands how influence is built in today’s evolving media ecosystem that spans top-tier press, broadcast, digital platforms, creator networks, podcasts, newsletters, and more! Sitting within a broader communications team as part of Adobe’s global marketing organization, this role will architect and implement proactive storytelling programs. The ideal candidate will identify white space opportunities, craft compelling pitches, and secure high-impact placements to position Adobe and its leaders at the center of conversations about creativity, AI, digital work, and the future of expression.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of communications or media strategy experience, preferably in tech
  • Proven ability to build and execute integrated media campaigns across traditional and non-traditional channels
  • Strong network of business and technology media, including digital-first and emerging platforms
  • Demonstrated experience advising senior leaders or spokespeople in high-visibility situations
  • Exceptional writer and storyteller with ability to simplify and emotively express complex narratives
  • Highly collaborative, self-starter with expertise in managing multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • BA/BS degree in Communications, English, Public Relations, Journalism, Creative Writing, Political Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Background, curiosity, and passion for software, technology, innovation, and creativity
  • Strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Narrative Amplification: Develop and activate storytelling campaigns that position Adobe’s executives, product leaders, and subject matter experts as authoritative voices across creativity, AI, content, and productivity.
  • Proactive Media Engine: Identify white space opportunities across traditional and emerging platforms to drive sustained visibility and engagement.
  • Thought Leadership & Platform Development: Build multi-channel visibility programs that extend beyond interviews! This can be contributed content, speaking engagements, live and virtual events, social amplification, and strategic partnerships.
  • Executive & Spokesperson Advisor: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and spokespeople. Provide message development, interview preparation, platform strategy, and real-time counsel in high-visibility moments.
  • Media Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, producers, creators and influential voices that are shaping the creativity and technology landscape.
  • Insights & Measurement: Monitor industry trends, competitive positioning, and media performance to inform strategy. Identify emerging platforms and continuously optimize impact.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Adobe communications teams as well as Product Marketing and Social to ensure a unified company narrative across channels.
