Key Responsibilities Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Applies knowledge of engineering principles to design components, products, tests and systems. Produces technical deliverables (e.g. 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, test reports, analysis reports, design calculations, tolerance analysis, etc.). Assists with prototype assemblies. Completes or facilitates engineering change requests that provide needed improvements to documentation and design. Works with system level engineering to assist in planning projects and assessing technical feasibility. Leads technical presentations and progress reports. Resolve manufacturing issues that require engineering oversight. Other duties as assigned. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 8+ years of engineering experience.
  • Experience performing calculations for engineering design.
  • Experience with 3D CAD software, SolidWorks preferred.
  • Ability to thrive on challenges, demonstrate initiative, and approach complex problems with innovative solutions.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong math and analytical skills.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Pipeline or pressure vessel industry experience
  • Familiar with pipeline, processing, and or pressure vessel codes; ASME B31.1, B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, Section VIII Div. 1
  • ASME B31.12 expereince a plus
