The TerraPower Isotopes® (TPI™) division has been established to pursue medical isotopes development: advancing nuclear science for significant human health benefits. We seek to support revolutionary radiotherapies for treatments of various cancers through the supply of radioisotopes, notably actinium-225. Senior Mechanical Designer The TerraPower Isotopes® (TPI™) Senior Mechanical Designer will play a key role in the design, development, integration and implementation of mechanical systems and tooling within TPI Ac-225 production inside of hot cells and gloveboxes suitable for handling of alpha emitting and long-lived radionuclides. The TPI Senior Mechanical Designer will join the team designing new transfer systems, operational tooling, and equipment as TPI expands our production of actinium. The ideal candidate will have experience leading the design of mechanical methods, handheld products, lifting equipment, and/or other mechanical transfer systems commonly used in radiological environments.
