Description:
BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum of 8+ years of engineering experience in automotive electrical or interior components.
6 years of related experience may be substituted for required degree.
This position is focused on mechanical design for automotive electrical parts, including creating and issuing complex 3D drawings and layouts using CATIA V6.
Strong understanding of automotive development schedules and high-level verbal/written communication skills are required.

Requirements

• Understanding of automotive development schedules.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in styling design feasibility studies.
• Experience with prototyping and manufacturing coordination.

Responsibilities

• Create and issue complex 3D drawings and layouts in CATIA V6.
• Assess styling design feasibility.
• Perform cost analysis, strength calculations, and material selection.
• Develop part construction and coordinate activities for prototyping, fabrication, and manufacturing of assigned products and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development.
