Shape the Future of Lean Manufacturing As a Senior Material Flow Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in transforming our plant into a world-class Lean operation. You’ll lead the design and execution of advanced material flow strategies—driving initiatives like Plan for Every Part (PFEP), Single Piece Flow, and end-to-end supply chain optimization. This is a high-impact role where strategy meets execution, and your ideas directly influence performance on the shop floor.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • 5+ years' hands on experience with materials flow engineering, distribution, logistics or supply chain including experience in Lean Supply Chain production method.
  • Strong computer knowledge including Robotic Languages, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
  • Must have the ability to teach, to facilitate meetings, to provide constructive feedback and listen actively.
  • Must be able to identify, analyze and resolve problems in multi-functional settings.
  • Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills to coach and lead high involvement work teams.
  • Must have demonstrated skills in achieving business goals and change implementation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal and leadership influencing skills.
  • Must work Collaboratively within a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in manufacturing/plant operations.
  • Proven leadership skills and record of accomplishments showing business impact.
  • Six Sigma certification.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Operational Excellence
  • Lead plant-wide material flow strategies and supplier integration aligned with the Appliance Production System (APS)
  • Design and optimize delivery, transportation, packaging, and shop floor flow—including supermarket implementation
  • Deliver results against key performance metrics such as schedule attainment, product availability, inventory, and cycle time
  • Implement and sustain standardized work to improve stability and consistency across materials operations
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Sourcing, and NPI teams to ensure seamless execution
  • Manage logistics and transportation costs while driving year-over-year productivity improvements
  • Enhance materials systems and tools to simplify processes and reduce cost
  • Present key project updates and insights to senior leadership
  • Lead Continuous Improvement
  • Champion Lean principles and foster a culture of continuous improvement across the value stream
  • Lead root cause problem-solving and drive corrective actions across cross-functional teams
  • Identify and eliminate waste through both short- and long-term initiatives
  • Facilitate kaizen events and ensure sustainable implementation of improvements
  • Drive accountability through regular performance reviews, action tracking, and follow-through
  • Build & Lead High-Performing Teams
  • Provide day-to-day leadership to a dynamic, cross-functional team
  • Coach, develop, and mentor team members to grow future leaders
  • Set clear goals and deliver ongoing performance feedback and development plans
  • Support hiring efforts and partner with HR on employee relations and engagement
  • Champion Safety & Quality
  • Promote a strong safety culture through proactive programs, audits, and compliance
  • Lead investigations and corrective actions for incidents and near misses
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, control plans, and manufacturing processes
  • Monitor key quality metrics and drive improvements in yield, scrap reduction, and defect prevention
