About The Position

ZGF is seeking a Senior Marketing Coordinator to join our team in our Los Angeles office. In this role, you will serve as a resource to the marketing team and support senior team members with a range of general marketing activities, including research, tracking and monitoring pursuit opportunities; developing marketing outlines, schedules and content in partnership with graphic designers; coordinating the preparation of professional documents; technical writing; and database management. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or related field
  • Minimum of four (4) years of relevant professional experience in the A/E/C industry:
  • Our ideal candidate will come from an architecture, engineering, or construction background and be comfortable with technical language from these environments.
  • Knowledge of the proposal preparation and proposal management process
  • Understanding of market sectors and client relations
  • Proficiency in InDesign and PowerPoint; working knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, and database programs including Deltek Vision and Axomic OpenAsset
  • Strong organizational, time management and project management skills
  • Excellent writing, editing, and research skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of personnel, from support staff to senior leaders across the firm

  • Professional services marketing experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Monitor newspapers, websites, and other sources of request-for-proposal advertisements to help identify client and project opportunities
  • Support interview rehearsal and preparation process
  • Develop and produce high quality marketing collateral, including qualification packages, proposals, and presentations:
  • Engage internal and external team members to obtain information required to develop qualifications and proposal content; edit technical portions, write and edit non-technical portions of proposals
  • Work with graphic design team to create and/or select graphics (photography, charts, diagrams, etc.) to communicate required information
  • Coordinate all proposal materials (graphics, text, forms, formats, sub-consultant materials) for final deliverable
  • Coordinate the preparation of statements of interest, qualifications, proposals, SF330 forms, annual roster responses, and miscellaneous marketing correspondence
  • Research clients, market trends, and background information associated with business development efforts in collaboration with Marketing Manager
  • Maintain and update information in Deltek Vision database about the business development activities of the local office and those of a firmwide nature that are orchestrated through that office, including such things as leads, contacts, and other background information
  • Maintain marketing calendars and to do lists
  • Collaborate with the LA Public Relations and Communications team to develop workback plans and submit for architectural awards and conferences.
  • Support on architectural photoshoots as needed
