About The Position

This is a job overview/brief description of the role. The Senior Marketing Business Analyst drives marketing efficiency and insight for our direct-to-consumer business, combining analytical expertise with an automation-first mindset. You'll transform raw data into automated reporting systems and actionable intelligence for ~20 external partners and internal channel managers. The ideal candidate thrives on eliminating manual work, building scalable solutions, and freeing up time for strategic analysis that drives customer growth and marketing ROI.

Requirements

  • BS/BA in Mathematics, Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field
  • 6-8 years of progressive analytics experience, preferably in digital/performance marketing environments
  • Demonstrated track record of automating reporting processes and building scalable analytical solutions
  • SQL proficiency for querying and extracting data from SQL Server databases
  • Power BI experience building dashboards and automated reports (or Tableau/Looker)
  • Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Power Query, comfortable with large datasets)
  • Demonstrated automation experience - you've built scheduled reports, automated data pipelines, or scripted repetitive tasks. Bonus if you maintain code in a Git repository.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing data sources (Google Analytics, Facebook Ads, etc.)
  • Automation-first mindset with ability to build solutions
  • Problem-solving tenacity and intellectual curiosity
  • Ownership mentality from ambiguous requirements to polished delivery
  • Strong communication skills translating technical complexity to executive insights

  • BigQuery for GA4 data analysis and custom attribution
  • Experience with APIs to pull data programmatically from marketing platforms

  • SQL Server-specific features like stored procedures, SSIS, or jobs for scheduling
  • GA4 implementation or marketing attribution modeling
  • Experience with data warehousing concepts (fact/dimension tables, star schemas)
  • DAX for advanced Power BI calculations

Responsibilities

  • Own and automate partner performance reporting for ~20 partners and daily dashboards for Marketing channel owners
  • Proactively identify opportunities to eliminate manual processes through scripting, APIs, and workflow automation
  • Design scalable reporting frameworks that grow with the business without proportional manual effort
  • Conduct high-impact analyses that inform marketing investment decisions, often synthesizing data from multiple sources
  • Investigate complex, ad-hoc data questions from Marketing leadership with speed and precision
  • Track channel KPIs and provide data-driven optimization recommendations to improve performance
  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences
  • Serve as the team's automation champion—constantly asking "how can we do this faster and better?"
  • Build reusable analytical tools, templates, and frameworks that enable self-service insights across Marketing
