We are looking for a talented individual… To join our team as a Senior Market Outreach Specialist! You will be responsible for developing increased awareness and adoption of targeted energy‑efficient technologies, strategic market development, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This role also includes delivering on client goals related to outreach activity and verified energy savings, while adhering to designated program budgets and allocated resoures. This position specifically focuses on serving commercial and industrial customers, ensuring they have access to the technologies, incentives, and support needed to achieve measurable efficiency improvements. The successful candidate will be based in Indianapolis, Indiana for frequent travel within Marion County.

Requirements

  • Self-motivated, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • 2-4 years of relevant industry experience such as working with contractors and/or sales
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM and other outreach tools
  • Are at least 21 years of age
  • Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, educate and develop relationships with contractors and other Trade Allies to encourage effective marketing of programs.
  • Develop outreach tactics to assist in recruiting customers and trade allies
  • Create and execute outreach strategies to commercial and industrial customers
  • Develop and track strategies to meet outreach and program targets
  • Adjust outreach strategies based on program changes, outreach strategy effectiveness
  • Establish relationships with all stakeholders in the energy efficiency landscape including contractors, trade allies and small business customers
  • Implement new tools and processes to improve the outreach function.
  • Stay informed on emerging energy efficiency technologies.
  • Perform event planning, coordination and presentations of programs.
  • Lead researching of the markets; accumulating data on businesses and identifying the key allies to be targeted on behalf of the programs.
  • Build a base of “registered” HVAC Trade Allies specific to the specified programs.
  • Prepare robust weekly, monthly and quarterly activity reports and track progress towards program goals.
