About The Position

Senior Manufacturing Manager Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Manager (Level L) to support Operations Leadership team in Portland, Oregon. Position Responsibilities: Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes Manages, develops and motivates employees Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 5+ years of experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment 5+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role 5+ years of experience applying continuous improvement tools and techniques 5+ years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) 5+ years of experience supporting Operations, Materials Management and/or Supply Chain functions in a production environment Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 5+ year of experience working in a cross-functional environment and/or business unit team 5+ year of experience with Quality Management Systems and/or Boeing Production System (BPS) Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace (DFW) where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies. Requirements

5+ years of experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment
5+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role
