Walmart Connect is seeking a highly analytical, strategic, and business oriented Senior Manager, Yield Strategic Planning to lead the integration and implementation of our forecasting, pricing, and performance analysis into our strategic recommendations. This individual will serve as the key connector between data science and revenue strategy, sitting at the intersection of data analysis and actionable strategy, ensuring that everything we do is tied to a achieving larger organizational goals, resolving issues, or overcoming operational obstacles. This person will ensure that analytical insights not only inform performance measurement but directly drive business decisions and monetization strategies. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in ad sales/media yield management or revenue analytics and is equally comfortable diving deep into forecasting models as they are into sales negotiations. Comfort working with larger cross-functional teams to drive strategy with senior stakeholders is essential. What you'll do... Key Responsibilities Strategic Insights & Forecasting Alignment Partner with the Yield Strategy and Yield Analytics teams to translate complex forecasting and pricing models into clear, actionable insights that inform revenue strategies and sales planning. Work with data scientists to ensure analyses and modeling methodologies align with business realities and sales goals. Performance Assessment & Reporting Develop and own frameworks for overseeing and evaluating monetization performance across platforms, sales channels, and products to fuel future strategic initiatives Identify performance trends and business risks/opportunities in conjunction with the analytics teams, and present strategic recommendations to leadership. Cross-functional Strategy Development Act as the connective tissue between analytics and strategy to ensure all teams are working from aligned, data-driven goals and roadmaps. Drive recurring strategic planning cycles to ensure forecasts, revenue opportunities, and performance insights are deeply embedded in goal-setting processes. Revenue Growth Support Inform packaging, pricing, and inventory utilization strategies by surfacing data-backed opportunities and inefficiencies. Support new product go-to-market strategies by consolidating supply & demand forecasting, revenue scenario modeling, and historical trend analysis to build a cohesive and supportable business recommendation. Influence Represent the Yield team in cross-functional leadership discussions and strategic planning meetings.
