Acting as an internal strategy advisor to HR leadership, this role supports the development, articulation, and execution of initiatives that enable the organization to attract, develop, and retain top talent. The Senior Manager partners closely with HR leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into actionable plans, insights, and executive-ready materials that support leadership decision-making. This role is responsible for synthesizing complex information, developing compelling presentations and communications, and helping ensure alignment across the U.S. HR organization and the broader enterprise. Requirements

  • A related university degree or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to synthesize complex information and translate it into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to connect HR initiatives to broader business and enterprise priorities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex ideas into clear and compelling narratives.
  • Advanced PowerPoint and presentation development skills with demonstrated ability to create executive-ready materials.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage relationships.
  • Ability to translate data and research into meaningful strategic insights.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Solid understanding of HR functions and talent strategies including workforce planning, employee experience, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and advancement of the U.S. HR strategy in alignment with enterprise and business priorities.
  • Conduct research and analysis on internal and external trends impacting talent, leadership, and workforce strategy.
  • Translate strategic priorities into clear initiatives, frameworks, and implementation plans.
  • Monitor progress of key initiatives and prepare updates for HR leadership.
  • Develop high-quality, executive-level presentations and materials for leadership forums, including HR leadership meetings, executive committees, and board-level discussions.
  • Translate complex ideas, data, and strategic priorities into clear and visually compelling PowerPoint presentations.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging, narrative, and visual storytelling across HR strategy materials.
  • Support senior leaders with presentation preparation, briefing materials, and talking points.
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across HR to ensure alignment among Centers of Excellence, HR Business Partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Support the preparation of strategic updates, business reviews, and leadership communications.
  • Help ensure that HR initiatives are aligned with enterprise priorities and operating frameworks.
  • Analyze workforce, organizational, and external market trends to support HR strategy development.
  • Develop materials that communicate key insights and implications for leadership decision-making.

  • This role has an expected salary range of $135,000 - $165,000K for the Chicago, IL market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position.
  • The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
