And we do it all with heart, each and every day. Position Summary The CVS Health Finance Talent Strategy (FTS) team delivers a Fortune 5 development experience with an extraordinary human connection. The Senior Manager, Talent Development will partner with the FTS leader to support Finance’s emerging talent programs with primary responsibility for the Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP). A successful candidate will be adaptable, organized, collaborative, and be able to partner with our Finance organization to advance and foster a culture of belonging among our program members and partners. Other locations will be considered with the understanding you must be in the office 3x a week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of professional experience
  • 5+ years of professional experience overseeing talent development programs or in related roles such as talent management, learning & development, organizational development, talent acquisition, human resources business partner, or related roles or experience within finance (Note: Graduation from a CVS Health Leadership Development Program may be considered as a substitute for up to two years of the required experience
  • Experience in people management or coaching and mentoring, ideally with intern to recent college graduates
  • Strong consultative skills and ability to manage relationships and communicate across all levels within the organization
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively on teams
  • Dedication to talent development
  • Ability to travel up to 15% (including air travel)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in finance & accounting, or supporting a finance organization
  • Demonstrated success in project management and planning, driving and executing initiatives
  • Experience in change management
  • Experience with data tracking, analysis and reporting tools
  • Master’s degree or related certifications preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Finance Leadership Development Program full-cycle operations from recruiting program talent through program graduation and alumni engagement
  • Partner with key stakeholders, including Executive Sponsor, Finance Leadership, and Finance Talent Strategy Advisory Board to set vision and strategic goals to ensure the programs are attracting, developing, and retaining key talent for the organization
  • Coordinate with Finance program action committees to set strategy, achieve goals, and strive toward best-in-class processes and experiences. Program committees include Program Engagement, Finance Internship Program (FIP) and FLDP Recruitment Operations, and New Hire Experience.
  • Ensure program members have a robust, engaging and inclusive culture by facilitating experiences such as annual LDP Engage event, orientation, graduation, location-based engagement, and general recognition.
  • Identify opportunities to upskill program members and support the development of foundational business acumen, technical skills, and leadership skills
  • Work closely with HR Business Partner on performance management, compensation, executing rotation assignments, and more
  • Align with Corporate University Relations/Talent Acquisition to market the programs, and source, screen, and hire top talent for programs.
  • Coach, support, and provide feedback to program members with a consistent focus on development and growth
  • Identify and ready internship and rotation hosts to develop key talent
  • Track and measure program data and provide analysis to leaders to support strategic decision making. Leverage internal and external data to continuously improve processes and best practices.
  • Collaborate across LDP leaders in other business functions to maintain and support enterprise-wide best practices across all programs
