About the team: The Data Science team applies advanced analytical and modeling techniques to address complex business challenges. Utilizing tools such as Python, SQL, and machine learning frameworks, the team focuses on model assessment, validation, and deployment. Collaborating closely with business stakeholders, they translate requirements into actionable insights and data-driven solutions. Emphasizing rigorous statistical methods and clear data visualization, the team ensures effective communication of findings. Committed to continuous learning and innovation, members follow best practices and emerging technologies to deliver impactful results aligned with organizational goals. What you'll do: Lead platform-level execution of software and AI/ML systems, ensuring alignment with domain priorities and roadmap milestones. Oversee shared infrastructure, tooling, and ML frameworks to support scalable, secure development. Drive full software development lifecycle across multiple teams, championing DevOps architecture and CI/CD practices. Implement cloud cost optimization and enhance automation, telemetry, and tooling. Mentor engineers, guide architectural decisions, and promote technical quality and compliance. Manage stakeholder relationships to align priorities and unblock progress. Establish and track operational and engineering metrics to drive continuous improvement. Foster innovation by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and products.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership in platform engineering, overseeing software and AI/ML system execution aligned with strategic roadmaps.
  • Expertise in managing full software development lifecycle, including DevOps architecture, CI/CD, and cloud cost optimization.
  • Strong skills in stakeholder and project management, ensuring timely delivery of complex technical initiatives.
  • Experience guiding architectural design, system integration, and maintaining high system availability and scalability.
  • Ability to mentor engineering teams, promote technical excellence, and foster continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in software product management and technology roadmap development.
  • Demonstrated adaptability to evolving technologies and business priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
  • 7 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
  • 2 years’ supervisory experience.
