Creating and driving long-term development and business technology strategies. Keeping track of response time of inquiry requests for services utilizing platform metrics. Managing each project to ensure that it remains within the approved manpower and budget guidelines. Performing quality inspections and walkthroughs, architecture reviews, design reviews, code reviews and security reviews to ensure compliance with standards. Collaborating with product managers, architects, and program partners to build and deploy world-class software. Working in tandem with architects and other software developers to design robust solutions; Interfacing and connecting standards (API’s/SDKs) so external partners can connect to our services. Overseeing operational aspects such as performance tuning, monitoring, and fault-tolerance. Leading software engineering practices and standard methodologies for the full software development process, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations. Prototyping creative solutions quickly and taking a project from prototype to production quality. Demonstrating leadership in mentoring, establishing standards in documentation and clean code, and setting a professional example for the team.

Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field.
  • Must have: five (5) years of experience with Java and Kotlin
  • five (5) years of experience with React.js and TypeScript
  • four (4) years of experience with AWS Kinesis and Rabbit MQ
  • three (3) years of experience with Datadog
  • three (3) years of experience with Kubernetes
  • two (2) years of experience with GraphQL
