What You Will Do: Maintain the overall physical security posture of multiple classified facilities within the Pratt & Whitney Military Engines (ME) portfolio of programs in compliance with applicable U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree and 7+ years of experience in industrial security, cybersecurity, government compliance, or government regulated industry; OR Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant industry experience; OR an Associate’s degree and 12+ years of relevant industry experience. We will also consider high school diploma, technical or military training, or recognized industry certifications in combination with 14+ years or relevant industry experience.
  • Secret-level U.S. government security clearance required; ability to obtain Top Secret clearance and Special Access Programs is required.
  • Familiarity with 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM, ICD-705, UL-2050, National Industrial Security Systems (CRZH), DODM 5205.07 SAP Security Manual

Nice To Haves

  • Current Top Secret-level U.S. government security clearance.
  • Certifications: Security +, ICD-705, Facility Security Officer (FSO)
  • Experience with implementation of and/or monitoring the compliance of industrial security to NISP, NISPOM, and/or Special Access Program Manuals
  • Degree in STEM field; Industrial Security or Program/Operation Management preferred.
  • Personnel management experience and ability to lead, mentor, coach, develop talent and motivate teams to achieve business goals.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical data, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
  • Organizational and project management skills, PMP certification preferred.
  • Ability to work and effectively communicate with all levels of management, shop personnel and customers

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and oversee the industrial security program and policies for assigned accredited areas in compliance with the 32 CFR Part 117 and DoDM 5205.07.
  • Manage team long-term strategy long-term strategy and the operational direction for security compliance.
  • Coach and mentor individuals and teams within the security group and provide development opportunities and job assignments to enhance employee performance and expand capabilities.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to significantly improve processes and improve overall industrial security.
  • Develop processes and procedures in support of broader security strategy.
  • Develop and maintain data driven analytics to enhance business decision making in support of industrial security and contractual compliance.
  • Lead and/or participate in working groups focused on establishing, reviewing and/or updating standard procedures and work instructions.
  • Provide physical security guidance and direction regarding building, maintenance, modification, or alterations for collateral open storage areas and the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency’s Form 147.
  • Ensure team members inspect, evaluate, and maintain all assigned accredited classified spaces in compliance with current security policies and procedures.
  • Perform operational functions in the absence of a team member, Facility Security Officer FSO or Deputy (DFSO).
  • Coach, mentor and train team members in standard work, procedures, security plans, and policies applicable to the accredited classified facilities.
  • Develop and/or update security training content and curriculum as directed by the FSO/DFSO.
  • Lead and perform tasks associated with self-inspections and preparations for government compliance inspections.
  • Lead, monitor, or participate in projects and initiatives to ensure they meet P&W’s and RTX business needs.
  • Establish key elements of tactical and operational plans with direct impact towards the achievement of results of a world class security program.
  • Participate and advise in generation of Contract Basis of Estimates, annual security expenses, and capital budgets.
  • Provide security oversight and management of contractual requirements to P&W classified contract program management, subcontractors, and subordinate business units.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity, document control, and clearance processing functions; be a leader with the ability to comprehend and collaborate with disparate functions in order to develop synergies of enhanced processes and procedures at intersection points.
