About The Position

The Sr. Manager, Safety plays a key role in driving risk reduction through design, overseeing the execution of safety projects and initiatives with a strong technical and engineering focus. While the role does not require a formal engineering degree, an understanding of engineering principles and design processes is essential. This position partners with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered effectively, on time, and within budget, leveraging data-driven insights and industry best practices to enhance workplace safety, service, and product capabilities.

Requirements

  • Experience in program or project management, ideally in safety or technical fields.
  • Technical aptitude and understanding of engineering and design principles.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects.
  • Commitment to company values and integrity.
  • Option 1: Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or related area and 3 years’ experience in project management, compliance, operations management, or related area.
  • Option 2: 5 years’ experience in project management, compliance, operations management, or related area.
  • 2 years’ experience managing budgets, profit-and-loss statements, or relate financial processes.
  • 3 years’ experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or related area.

Responsibilities

  • Lead safety projects focused on risk reduction through design.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, to ensure project success.
  • Monitor progress, address risks, and implement technical solutions.
  • Communicate plans, progress, and results to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Drive process improvements and maintain project documentation.
  • Supervise and develop team members, promoting a culture of safety and belonging.
