About The Position

The Sr. Manager, Safety, Health, Environmental & Security (SHE&S) is responsible for driving culture change and ensuring injury free safety performance at the Belvidere, NJ site, one of the largest sites in North America. This role will manage a variety of different SHE risks including: PSM operations, flammable solvent operation, combustible dusts, self-heating substances, all life savings rules associated risks, etc.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical discipline such as chemistry, biology or engineering required
Min. 10 years' experience in operations in a large manufacturing facility
Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, to a diverse audience
Sound technical approach to problem solving
PSM and general OSHA standards knowledge

Responsibilities

Leads and develops Site SHE Culture & Systems to achieve zero injuries and leak free
Ensures compliance with all Federal, state and local SHE regulations and dsm-firmenich requirements at the Belvidere site
Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies, this include Title V permit, OSHA PSM Operations and permits with NJDEP. This includes timely and accurate reporting to all agencies
Ensures security of site and compliance with all external and internal security requirements
