Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Education, Engineering, or related field and 4 years’ experience in training, quality, product development, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in training, quality, product development, or related area.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in engineering, science, or similar technical field.
  • 8+ years’ experience in quality assurance, product development, manufacturing, or related area.
  • Experience within electronics item areas - wireless accessories, power banks, etc.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g. ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, Quality Auditor, Six Sigma, or similar) relevant to the Quality Assurance field.
  • Expertise in Statistical Analyses or Data Visualization.
  • Assessing training programs and customer service levels in a production, sales, or customer service environment.
  • Providing performance feedback or on-the-job training
  • Supervisory Masters: Business, Masters: Communication, Masters: Computer Engineering, Masters: Education
  • Six Sigma - Certification

Responsibilities

  • Being an excellent business partner: you will work closely with Sourcing leaders and Merchants to create plans that contribute to the Direct Import strategy including selecting suppliers to work with, through to assuring consistent quality for our customers.
  • Building relationships: you’ll use your influencing and leadership skills to build partnerships with suppliers, business partners and other internal customers.
  • Making decisions: you’ll make decisions about quality from supplier approvals to clear specifications that detail our requirements.
  • Designing, developing, and launching products: you’ll work with our internal customers Product Development and Sourcing teams to ensure we source the right product with consistent quality.
  • Knowing your category: You’ll know your customers and suppliers better than anyone and are always thinking about what is next for the category.
