About The Position

As a Sr. Manager of Project Management in Capital One Auto Sales, you will lead the Project Management Office for the Sales Line of Business Command Center. The Command Center serves as the nerve center for designing, managing and improving processes that drive growth and success for our Sales Associates and Dealer partners. You will serve as a strategic leader and subject matter expert, guiding your team of project management professionals to execute high priority initiatives and deliver results that significantly impact our Dealer customers’ bottom line.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
  • At least 5 Years of Project Management experience
  • At least 2 Year of People Management experience

Nice To Haves

  • Masters / MBA degree
  • 7+ years of Project Management experience
  • 3+ years of People Management experience
  • PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification

Responsibilities

  • Strategically Lead Complex Programs: Drive and govern moderate to large-scale, complex projects and programs, providing strategic direction, establishing clear structure, and developing adaptive project plans to meet changing requirements.
  • Ensure Flawless Execution & Risk Management: Oversee meticulous project documentation to mitigate risk, ensure accountability, and deliver all initiatives on time and to intended goals.
  • Cultivate Cross-Functional Partnerships: Partner and influence stakeholders across all levels of the company, providing strategic thought partnership and leveraging exceptional communication skills to secure alignment and drive commitment delivery.
  • Inspire and Develop Talent: Lead, coach, and develop a team of project managers and associates, displaying a passion for mentorship and building a high-performing culture.
