About The Position

The Senior Manager, Project Management leads the execution of multiple complex projects by developing strategic business plans, managing resources, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. About the team: The team drives efficiency and consistency across the construction division by evaluating processes and new technologies. They provide detailed reporting to senior leadership and support remodel business units, new store programs, Sam’s Club, and Supply Chain operations. Focused on effective project and risk management, the team collaborates cross-functionally to align priorities and deliver results. They emphasize clear communication, adaptability, and performance management to ensure successful execution of multiple projects. This group plays a key role in advancing business goals through data-driven decision making and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in project management with the ability to lead multiple complex, cross-functional projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership skills to mentor, develop, and motivate teams while establishing clear performance expectations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities to engage and influence senior leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Proficiency in risk management, including identifying, mitigating, and resolving project risks and issues effectively.
  • Demonstrated adaptability and decision-making skills to adjust plans and priorities in response to evolving business needs.
  • Experience in driving continuous improvement through data-driven insights and standardized project documentation practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field and 4 years' experience in business, operations, analytics, or related area OR 6 years' experience in business, operations, analytics, or related area.
  • 2 years’ supervisory experience.
  • 3 years’ project management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project resources, schedules, budgets, and documentation while ensuring alignment with program goals and company standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership to assess risks, develop mitigation strategies, and drive informed decision-making.
  • Oversee communication plans, educate stakeholders, and promote adherence to policies, ethics, and compliance standards.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve processes to enhance efficiency and support sustainable best practices.
