About The Position

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will build and drive the strategy, positioning, and go-to-market (GTM) execution for application focused embedded software solutions built using AI/ML on Microchip silicon platforms. You will lead solution definition, roadmap, business plan, pricing and go to market functions, influence engineering as well as sales with the ultimate goal to enable clients to successfully use Microchip solutions for Edge AI applications.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field required; MBA preferred.
  • Experience: 15+ years of experience in product marketing, technical marketing, or product management for embedded software and or semiconductor industry.
  • Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of embedded software stack, microcontroller architecture, embedded systems, software, and applications.
  • AI Knowledge: Direct experience with TinyML, edge AI frameworks (TensorFlow Lite for Microcontrollers), and neural network accelerators is highly desirable.
  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to translate complex technical features into marketing narratives for business and technical audiences. Experience in presenting business topics to executive management is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define the solution strategy, roadmap, and business plan for AI-capable MCUs, translating technical AI innovation into differentiated market leadership.
  • Product management: Lead new product introduction, manage product life cycle from concept to obsolescence, pricing and distribution strategy as well as prioritizing and communicating updates to products and their derivatives.
  • Go-to-Market (GTM) Execution: Lead launch execution for solutions, creating compelling value propositions that demonstrate tangible benefits to clients and train sales team on delivering such value propositions. You will also need outbound marketing efforts for solutions including solution demo, website, trade shows and event presence.
  • Customer & Ecosystem Engagement: Engage with key customers to drive success as well as and partner with ecosystem vendors (AI frameworks, toolchain partners) to ensure a broad reach of Microchip solutions.
