About the Team Capital One’s Enterprise Payments team is crucial to ensuring we meet evolving customer needs across the payment landscape. This translates into defining the roadmaps that will enable the company’s overall digital payments strategy, modernizing existing payment types and innovating in ways that will meet the future of customer payment needs. In an industry rooted in mainframe systems and batch processes, we are driving toward a cloud-based, API/microservice architecture and real-time data environment. The Senior Manager, Product Manager for the Enterprise Payments team plays a critical role in achieving our goals. This is a highly collaborative role, where the individual will work closely with a team of product managers as well partnering with engineers, data scientists, operations, and business partners to transform the payment experience for all of our customers, ranging from consumer to small business to commercial personas. Through this collaboration, the individual will shape the wires payment roadmap and define the data required to drive straight through processing and improve our overall risk posture across this payment type. The wires payment industry is currently undergoing significant data changes, driven by evolving regulatory requirements. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the strategy for leveraging this enriched data, ideate on automation capabilities for these high-value payments, and enhance user-friendly self-service options. Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience working in Product Management
  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date: A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration
