The Product Development organization at SharkNinja drives our global product roadmap from concept to shelf, always through the lens of the consumer. As the “product CEOs,” we partner cross-functionally with nearly every team to deliver high satisfaction for our end users and drive business results. Our team is made up of professionals from diverse backgrounds—product marketing managers, consumer-focused engineers, and more—all united by a commitment to delivering a 5-star experience for every customer and every product. The Sr. Manager – PD-T, App is responsible for leading the strategy, development, and execution of mobile and web applications that enable and enhance the user experience for SharkNinjas’s connected product portfolio. This leader will collaborate cross-functionally to deliver innovative, consumer-centric app solutions that drive engagement, satisfaction, and business results.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in app development, product management, or related fields, preferably within consumer electronics, robotics, or connected products.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience managing and leading teams in an agile development environment.
  • Strong understanding of mobile and web app technologies, platforms, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver consumer-facing digital products that drive engagement and satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across multi-functional teams.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using data and consumer insights to inform product decisions.
  • Desire to learn and grow in a dynamic, innovative environment.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and focus on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end development and lifecycle management of mobile and web applications for Products.
  • Partner with product, engineering, UX/UI, and marketing teams to define app features, user journeys, and technical requirements.
  • Oversee the app roadmap, ensuring alignment with product launches, business objectives, and consumer needs.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of app developers, product owners, and/or project managers, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
  • Integrate consumer feedback and analytics to continuously improve app performance, usability, and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Consumer Insights to develop testing objectives and incorporate user feedback into app iterations.
  • Ensure app quality, security, and compliance standards are met, working closely with QA and IT teams.
  • Manage app release cycles, updates, and bug fixes, coordinating with cross-functional partners.
  • Monitor app KPIs and report on performance, adoption, and user engagement.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for app-related questions and initiatives within the Shark Robots and Connected Products category.
  • Support the development of troubleshooting guides, FAQs, and consumer support materials for the app experience.
  • Lead or participate in cross-functional initiatives that drive digital innovation and business impact.
