About The Position

The purpose of the Red Aspen’s Product Strategy team is to concept, develop and launch consumable, playful, and compelling products to inclusively support the businesses of all Red Aspen Brand Ambassadors and Affiliates. The Senior Manager is a strategic leader responsible for driving complex product initiatives from concept through launch while elevating the team’s operational excellence. They will oversee Project Coordinators, ensuring strong alignment to organizational processes, delivering consistent project execution, and serving as a role model in cross-functional partnership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 5-7 years of project management or product development experience, including leadership or mentorship of junior team members.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to maintain effective relationships across all levels.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate needs, identify risks, and develop proactive solutions.
  • Comfortable with a high degree of autonomy; strong judgment and decision-making ability.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, timelines, and project requirements.
  • Ability to coach and develop team members, fostering accountability, consistency, and follow-through.
  • High emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills to navigate cross-functional priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency with project management tools and systems

Responsibilities

  • Build and develop project management systems to help monitor project status, prioritize and track deliverables, and manage project timelines
  • Establish the projects’ purpose and goals, success criteria, stakeholders, resources and attributes, deadlines, project budget and schedule.
  • Lead Product Development projects from definition through completion and keep stakeholders informed the entire way, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy.
  • Ensure documentation is organized and maintained throughout the length of the project, and uphold team standards and procedures.
  • Determine and track product ordering timelines per department needs
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external product vendors
  • Receive, organize, and manage vendor samples as they arrive
  • Organize and track all communications between external vendors to ensure product timelines are met
  • Facilitate and communicate project changes to ensure all parties are informed
  • Work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure all project deliverables are met
  • Manage and support two (2) direct reports, providing clear direction, guidance, and accountability to foster strong performance and development.
  • Serve as a role model for junior team members by demonstrating leadership, professionalism, and adherence to organizational procedures.
  • Support the Director in strategic initiatives, including process improvements, team planning, and implementation of best practices.
  • Work closely with the Director to identify and resolve issues as they arise, contributing to strategic decision-making and process improvement.
