About The Position

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Procurement to lead and execute procurement activities supporting our operations organization. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for driving sourcing strategy, vendor management, and cost optimization across operational categories. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in procurement supporting operational environments (e.g., data centers, infrastructure, manufacturing, or similar) and is comfortable operating both strategically and tactically. Key Responsibilities: Procurement Strategy & Execution Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with operational and business goals Lead end-to-end sourcing activities including RFx, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contracting Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive value beyond price (efficiency, quality, risk reduction) Operations Support Partner closely with operations teams to understand demand, timelines, and service requirements Support procurement for operational categories such as infrastructure, equipment, maintenance services, and related spend Ensure timely and reliable support to meet operational needs Project Management Lead and manage end-to-end procurement projects, including sourcing initiatives, vendor onboarding, and offshore transitions, ensuring delivery against timelines, scope, and business objectives Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, manage risks and dependencies, and provide clear tracking and reporting to ensure successful execution and continuous improvement Vendor & Stakeholder Management Build and manage relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders Establish supplier performance metrics and drive accountability Act as a trusted advisor to operations leadership Contracting & Commercial Management Lead contract negotiations including pricing, SLAs, and commercial terms Ensure contracts align with risk, compliance, and business requirements Monitor contract performance and manage renewals Process & Continuous Improvement Improve procurement processes to increase efficiency and scalability Leverage data and analytics to inform decision-making Support implementation of procurement tools and best practices Qualifications Required 8–12+ years of procurement/sourcing experience Strong experience supporting operations-focused procurement Proven ability to manage end-to-end sourcing and supplier negotiations Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills Preferred Experience in data center, infrastructure, manufacturing, or similar operational environments Familiarity with categories such as: Data center equipment (electrical, mechanical equipment) Facilities Technical services or infrastructure vendors Experience with procurement systems Key Skills Strategic sourcing and negotiation Stakeholder management and influence Supplier performance management Problem-solving and execution focus Ability to operate independently in a high-impact role #LI-SP1 #LI-Hybrid CyrusOne is an equal opportunity employer.
