Summary The Senior Manager of RFP Services is a people management role focused on guiding and developing a high-performing proposal team while ensuring the delivery of compliant, competitive, and compelling proposals across Gainwell’s business lines. This position combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented environment. The manager is accountable for team performance, professional development, and engagement, while driving process improvements and maintaining high-quality proposal standards aligned with client requirements and business objectives.Your role in our mission Lead and Develop the Team Supervise, coach, and mentor proposal professionals to enhance skills, performance, and career growth. Foster a positive, inclusive team culture that encourages collaboration and accountability. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback. Manage Workload and Resources Assign proposal projects and balance workloads across team members. Coordinate with external staffing partners to ensure adequate resourcing. Monitor team capacity and adjust priorities as needed. Drive Operational Excellence Oversee and maintain the proposal content library, templates, and reference materials. Ensure proposals comply with solicitation instructions, regulatory requirements, and internal standards. Implement quality assurance processes to uphold high standards for content and presentation. Strategic Leadership Align proposal efforts with organizational goals and growth strategies. Perform competitive bid analyses to inform proposal strategy and positioning. Document lessons learned and lead continuous improvement initiatives. Collaboration and Communication Partner with internal teams and subject matter experts to gather inputs and ensure timely delivery. Communicate expectations, timelines, and priorities clearly to stakeholders. Training and Development Provide ongoing training on proposal development, compliance, and best practices. Act as a player/coach on large strategic proposals when needed.
