About The Position

As a Senior Manager of Marketplace, Best Buy Ads, you’ll empower third-party sellers with the tools, insights, and strategies to advertise effectively within our retail ecosystem—enhancing visibility, driving sales, and elevating brand performance through Best Buy Ads advertising channels such as sponsored products and paid search. You will lead an advertising sales team that drives growth for sellers and brands on Best Buy’s marketplace. You will set direction for seller success, guide execution across My Ads, and own and influence key US sellers helping them scale performance through stronger adoption of Best Buy Ads. You will build senior relationships, align your team to the established strategy, and ensure consistent delivery of outcomes. Best Buy Ads is a key part of our company’s business strategy, as we deliver business results by partnering with leading brands to captivate audiences, drive engagement and provide measurable impact. This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or other non-Best Buy location. Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in digital advertising, retail media, or ecommerce.
  • 1+ years of leadership experience with direct or indirect reports.
  • Experience developing emerging talent.
  • Strong understanding of paid search, sponsored products, or retail ad platforms.
  • Proven ability to reshape and redefine business needs and processes.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence clients at all levels.
  • Advanced understanding of business implications.
  • Proactive in identifying challenges and offering creative solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with third-party sellers or vendor partners.
  • Background in campaign strategy, client success, or performance marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Influence strategy that grows advertising revenue and marketplace sales
  • Partner with the Director to execute strategic plans and revenue-driving initiatives.
  • Lead a team of 3 to 5 marketing leads. set goals, coach performance, and drive clear outcomes.
  • Build senior relationships with US sellers. Set plans that deepen engagement and expand spend.
  • Oversee Ad Support for Marketplace sellers. Ensure consistency in execution across your team.
  • Educate partners and drive adoption of Best Buy Ads.
  • Work across departments to support marketplace growth, including Marketplace, Brand, e-commerce, etc.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Best Buy Ads teams including Product & Engineering.
  • Lead forecasting and business planning efforts across your team.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and development opportunities for your team.
  • Identify and cultivate talent to meet future business needs.
  • Provide leadership to strengthen partner engagement strategies.
