About The Position

We produce the world’s BEST strawberries & our Commercial Go-to-Market team is a major reason why! As the Senior Manager of Logistics, Alternative Channels, you will own the operational backbone of Oishii’s alternative sales channels, including eCommerce, specialty partnerships, and emerging distribution models. This role is critical to scaling our business efficiently and sustainably, ensuring our premium refrigerated product reaches customers with the quality and care that defines Oishii. You will lead logistics strategy and execution across third-party logistics providers (3PLs), warehouse setup, systems integration, and customer reship support. This is a highly cross-functional role requiring deep ownership, comfort in ambiguity, and a true startup mindset.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in logistics, fulfillment, or supply chain management.
  • Proven experience working with 3PLs, ideally in refrigerated or perishable goods.
  • Experience setting up and managing external warehouses and pick-and-pack operations.
  • Strong familiarity with eCommerce platforms, warehouse integrations, and ERP systems.
  • Hands-on, ownership-driven approach with willingness to work across all operational levels.
  • Flexibility to work weekends based on business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day logistics operations for alternative sales channels, including eCommerce fulfillment and external partnerships.
  • Manage and optimize relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), with strong preference for experience handling refrigerated or perishable products.
  • Lead the setup and scaling of external pick-and-pack warehouse operations, including SOP development and performance metrics.
  • Ensure on-time, in-full delivery while maintaining Oishii’s high standards for product quality and cold-chain integrity.
  • Partner with internal teams and external vendors to integrate eCommerce platforms with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP tools.
  • Own logistics-related workflows within ERP systems to support inventory accuracy, order flow, and financial reporting.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to support scalability as alternative channels grow.
  • Support customer experience needs related to shipping issues, reships, and order exceptions.
  • Work closely with CX teams to resolve logistics-driven customer issues quickly and effectively.
  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy and accountability; this role requires building processes where none exist.
  • Anticipate challenges, identify gaps, and proactively drive solutions in a fast-moving environment.
  • Curiosity and excitement about figuring out new things like packaging development.
