Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis Location: Chestertown, MD 21620 Work Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday Salary Range: $100-$160k per year Make the Right Connection—Build Your Career with Dixon! The Dixon Group is seeking a dynamic Senior Manager of Finance & Analysis to elevate our financial planning and analysis function while leading key improvements across enterprise finance processes. In this high-impact individual contributor role, you’ll partner closely with Accounting, Operations, IT, and business leadership to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows, and build scalable, well-documented financial processes. This role blends analytical leadership with process design, systems optimization, and technical communication. What You'll Do: Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Lead financial performance analysis and deliver insight-driven recommendations Design scalable financial models supporting operational and capital strategy Develop KPIs, dashboards, and executive-ready reporting Partner with department leaders to strengthen planning discipline Business Process Improvement Identify inefficiencies and risks across accounting and finance workflows Design standardized, scalable processes across FP&A, accounting, and reporting Lead cross-functional automation and systems improvement initiatives Align finance processes with ERP structure and data governance standards Define business requirements and future-state workflows during system changes Technical Writing & Documentation Create SOPs, process narratives, workflow diagrams, and control documentation Translate complex financial and systems processes into clear guidance Maintain version-controlled documentation aligned with real-world practice Support audit, compliance, and training through structured documentation Cross-Functional Leadership Act as a bridge between Finance, IT, and Operations Influence stakeholders through structured thinking and communication Drive adoption of standardized processes Contribute to a process-driven finance culture What We're Looking For: Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field 8–12+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, finance operations, or transformation roles Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling experience Demonstrated success improving business or finance processes Advanced Excel skills and ERP/reporting system experience Strong written communication and technical documentation ability Preferred Qualifications CPA, CMA, MBA, or equivalent Manufacturing or multi-entity experience Process mapping or documentation tools experience Exposure to automation, BI tools, or planning systems Project or cross-functional leadership experience What We Offer: Medical, dental, and vision insurance for you and your family Competitive salary Bonus programs 401K retirement plan Training opportunities Tuition reimbursement Paid vacation, PTO, and holidays Gym reimbursements, and more! Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
  • 8–12+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, finance operations, or transformation roles
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling experience
  • Demonstrated success improving business or finance processes
  • Advanced Excel skills and ERP/reporting system experience
  • Strong written communication and technical documentation ability
