About The Position

As the Senior Manager, IT Security & Risk Management at Reworld Waste, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our digital infrastructure and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. You will lead the development and execution of security strategies that protect sensitive data, maintain operational continuity, and support our sustainability-driven business objectives.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master’s preferred).
8+ years of experience in IT security
Proven experience in risk management and security governance within complex organizations.
Expertise in cybersecurity frameworks, risk assessment methodologies, and regulatory compliance.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Nice To Haves

CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent certifications strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement Reworld Waste’s IT security and risk management strategy aligned with corporate goals. Establish governance frameworks, policies, and standards for cybersecurity and risk management.
Risk Management: Conduct enterprise-wide risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies. Monitor emerging threats and proactively address vulnerabilities.
Security Operations: Oversee incident response, threat detection, and vulnerability management programs. Ensure timely resolution of security incidents and continuous improvement of security posture.
Compliance & Audit: Maintain compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., NIST, SOX, environmental industry standards). Lead internal and external audits related to IT security and risk management.
Team Leadership: Promote a culture of cybersecurity awareness across Reworld Waste.
Vendor & Technology Management: Evaluate and manage security technologies and third-party vendors. Stay ahead of industry trends and recommend innovative solutions.
