About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Senior Manager of IT Infrastructure to lead our organization through a modernization and cloud transformation journey. This leader will shape and execute our infrastructure strategy, strengthen our security and operational capabilities, and grow the technical skills of our internal team. The ideal candidate brings hands-on cloud migration expertise, strong leadership abilities, and a proven track record of modernizing technology environments in growing organizations.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive IT experience, including leadership of infrastructure and operations.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cloud migrations (OCI, Azure, AWS).
  • Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, identity, storage, and security fundamentals.
  • Proven ability to build, develop, and lead high-performing technical teams.
  • Experience modernizing legacy environments and deploying new technologies.
  • Strong vendor management, budgeting, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution skills.
  • Comfortable challenging the status quo and driving organizational change.
  • Collaborative, transparent, and empathetic leadership style.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a 2–3 year IT infrastructure modernization roadmap aligned with company strategy.
  • Lead the organization’s cloud transformation (hybrid or full cloud), including architecture, planning, and execution.
  • Establish long-term IT vision, standards, and governance.
  • Oversee design, implementation, and optimization of cloud platforms (OCI, Azure, AWS).
  • Manage data center, networking, identity, storage, and compute systems through and after cloud transition.
  • Evaluate and implement modern technologies including virtualization, automation, monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Partner with external security specialists to maintain a strong security posture.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, data protection standards, and internal policies.
  • Enhance identity management, endpoint security, patching, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Lead and mentor an internal IT team with limited cloud experience, building capabilities through training, hiring, and coaching.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage vendor relationships for cloud services, infrastructure providers, MSPs, and software platforms.
  • Build and oversee annual IT budgets, including cloud cost forecasting and optimization.
  • Negotiate contracts and evaluate new technology investments.
  • Ensure reliable, secure, and scalable IT operations across the organization.
  • Improve service delivery, incident response, and change management capabilities.
  • Implement ITIL or similar operational best practices where appropriate.
