Sr Manager, HR Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Integration leads the strategic and operational aspects of major HR initiatives that deliver long-term value to T-Mobile by integrating new acquisitions, partnerships, and talent into the organization and culture. This leader manages a high-performing team and provides direction across HR Centers of Excellence-including Compensation, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and Organizational Effectiveness-to ensure seamless alignment of people, processes, and programs through all phases of HR M&A. Acting as the primary HR M&A integration lead, the Sr Manager partners closely with HR and business executives to drive strategy, oversee execution, and enable a consistent employee experience that supports T-Mobile's growth and culture. This is a hybrid role (3 days/week) in the office and can be based in Bellevue, WA; Overland Park, KS; or Frisco, TX

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; or 15+ years of relevant experience (required).
  • 7-10 years of experience in mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures with a solid record of driving complex HR integration initiatives from planning through execution.
  • 4-7 years in the wireless telecommunications industry with a solid understanding of wireless technologies, operations, and business drivers.
  • 4-7 years leading integration or program/project management functions, with proven success delivering integration or separation projects (M&A, divestitures, large-scale transformations, or technology implementations).
  • 4-7 years of progressive people leadership, including managing, developing, and mentoring high-performing teams.
  • 4-7 years of analytical or operational business experience, with the ability to translate data and insights into strategic recommendations.
  • Experience developing and delivering strategic plans in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively partner with, influence, and present to C-suite executives.
  • Exceptional communication skills-clear, confident, and able to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
  • Strong influence, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to bring teams together across functions.
  • Proven critical thinking and the ability to balance long-term vision with operational execution.
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Manage and implement the HR integration and separation strategy in alignment with corporate and people goals; Define objectives, success criteria, and timelines that support employee experience, compliance, and business continuity; Partner with HR and business leadership to identify and prioritize acquisition, divestiture and joint venture programs. Lead planning and execution of HR activities with a focus on seamless transitions of people, culture, and HR processes.
  • Lead and managing multiple HR integration and divestiture programs simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes; Leading the creation and tracking of HR roadmaps and achievements; Implement HR governance frameworks to assess progress, manage risks, and report outcomes across HR Centers of Excellence (e.g., Compensation, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Organizational Effectiveness) to HR executives; Create and implement change management and communication plans to ensure smooth transitions and strong partner engagement and Continuously improve HR M&A program management tools, templates, and lessons learned to strengthen future integration readiness and employee experience.
  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact for integration and separation initiatives, ensuring alignment and coordination among HR COEs, business leaders, and cross-functional partners. Foster strong relationships with internal and external partners to enable effective collaboration, timely decision-making, and issue resolution.
  • Build and lead a high-performing HR M&A team, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance management. Direct and coordinate HR COE leads and project managers to drive alignment across all integration and separation workstreams. Foster a culture of inclusion, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with HR and FP&A to prepare and manage HR integration and separation budgets, T-Mobile resource planning, and third party budgeting and resource plans, ensuring efficient allocation to deal priorities. Partner with deal teams to ensure integration resource execution plans map to TMUS business targets and goals. Track financial performance of HR programs versus budget, finding opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiency.
